Dr. Matthew R. Churchill received his B.A. in Biology from Cornell University in 1996. Dr. Churchill earned his M.D. from Weill Medical College of Cornell University in 2002. He completed his internship and neurology residency training at Cornell University Medical College in New York city, training at New York Hospital and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. In 2007 he completed a fellowship in Neurophysiology at SUNY Downstate Medical College in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Churchill entered private practice in New York city in 2007. He moved to Northern Virginia and joined the Neurology Center of Fairfax as a full-time clinical neurologist in 2008. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. His areas of interest include headaches, movement disorders, neuropathy, peripheral nerve and muscle disease, stroke, epilepsy, dementia, and neck and back pain.
