Dr. Matthew R. Churchill
Dr. Matthew R. Churchill received his B.A. in Biology from Cornell University and earned his M.D. from Weill Medical College of Cornell University. He completed his internship and neurology residency training at Cornell University Medical College in New York City, training at New York Hospital and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Churchill then completed a fellowship in Neurophysiology at State University of New York (SUNY) Downstate Medical College in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Churchill entered private practice in New York City in 2007.
Dr. Churchill moved to Northern Virginia and joined the Neurology Center of Fairfax as a full-time clinical neurologist in 2008. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. His areas of interest include headaches, dizziness, neuropathy, peripheral nerve and muscle disease, stroke, epilepsy, dementia, neck and back pain, and administering Botox treatment for migraine.
